By downloading, installing, or using NeroLens ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and NeroLens ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the App and any related services.
2. Description of Service
NeroLens is a mobile application that provides:
- AI-powered food recognition and nutritional analysis
- Calorie and macronutrient tracking
- Water and sugar intake monitoring
- Personalized AI fitness coaching through Nero
- Health statistics and progress tracking
- Customizable meal reminders and notifications
3. Subscription Terms
3.1 Free and Premium Features
NeroLens offers both free and premium subscription tiers. Premium features require an active subscription.
3.2 Subscription Billing
- Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Payment will be charged to your App Store/Play Store account upon confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
3.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Play Store account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods.
3.4 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will apply to the next billing cycle after the change takes effect.
3.5 App Deletion and Subscriptions
Important: Deleting the NeroLens app does not cancel your subscription. Your subscription will continue to be billed unless you cancel it through your App Store or Play Store settings. Additionally, all locally stored data will be permanently lost upon app deletion and cannot be recovered.
4. Local Data Storage & Data Loss
Important: All data in NeroLens is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling, deleting, or clearing the app's data will permanently and irreversibly erase all your information, including your profile, meal history, progress, AI chat history, and all other data. We do not maintain backups of your data on any server. You are solely responsible for your data.
5. User Responsibilities
5.1 Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate information about yourself, including your age, weight, height, and health conditions. Inaccurate information may result in incorrect nutritional recommendations.
5.2 Appropriate Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Upload inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Share your subscription access with others
- Use automated systems to access the App
6. Health Disclaimer
Important: NeroLens is not a medical device and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- The nutritional information provided by AI analysis is an estimate and may not be 100% accurate
- Always consult with a healthcare professional before starting any diet or fitness program
- If you have any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions, consult your doctor before following any recommendations
- The AI coach (Nero) provides general fitness guidance, not medical advice
- We are not responsible for any health issues, injuries, adverse effects, or medical consequences resulting from following the App's suggestions
- By using the App, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk
7. AI Coach (Nero) Disclaimer
Important: Nero is an AI-powered assistant. Its responses are generated by artificial intelligence (Google Gemini AI) and may contain inaccuracies, errors, or incomplete information.
- Nero is not a certified nutritionist, doctor, or medical professional
- AI-generated responses should be treated as general informational content only
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided by Nero
- You should never rely solely on Nero's advice for making health, dietary, or medical decisions
- NeroLens and its developers are not responsible or liable for any actions taken based on Nero's recommendations or for any consequences arising from the use of AI-generated content
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, and software, are owned by NeroLens and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
9. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services:
- Google Gemini AI: Powers food recognition and the AI coach. Subject to Google's Terms of Service.
- Apple App Store / Google Play Store: Handles subscription payments and management.
- RevenueCat: Manages subscription status verification.
- Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: Provides anonymized usage analytics and crash reporting.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of third-party services.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- NeroLens is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of nutritional information or AI recommendations
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- We are not liable for any data loss resulting from app deletion, device issues, or any other cause
- We are not liable for any health issues, injuries, or medical consequences arising from app usage
- We are not liable for any continued subscription charges after app deletion if you failed to cancel your subscription
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NeroLens, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
14. Governing Law

3.2 Оплата подписки
- Подписки оплачиваются через Apple App Store или Google Play Store
- Оплата списывается с вашего аккаунта App Store/Play Store при подтверждении покупки
- Подписки автоматически продлеваются, если не отменены минимум за 24 часа до окончания текущего периода
- Средства за продление списываются в течение 24 часов до окончания текущего периода
3.3 Отмена
Вы можете отменить подписку в любое время через настройки App Store или Play Store. Отмена вступит в силу по окончании текущего периода оплаты. Возврат средств за неполные периоды подписки не предоставляется.
3.4 Изменение цен
Мы оставляем за собой право изменять цены подписки. Об изменениях цен будет сообщено заранее, и они будут применяться к следующему циклу оплаты.
3.5 Удаление приложения и подписки
Важно: Удаление приложения NeroLens не отменяет вашу подписку. Списание средств за подписку будет продолжаться, пока вы не отмените её через настройки App Store или Play Store. Кроме того, все локально хранимые данные будут безвозвратно утеряны при удалении приложения и не могут быть восстановлены.
4. Локальное хранение данных и потеря данных
Важно: Все данные в NeroLens хранятся локально на вашем устройстве. Удаление приложения или очистка данных приложения навсегда и безвозвратно удалит всю вашу информацию, включая профиль, историю приёмов пищи, прогресс, историю чата с ИИ и все остальные данные. Мы не храним резервных копий ваших данных на серверах. Вы несёте полную ответственность за свои данные.
5. Обязанности пользователя
5.1 Достоверная информация
Вы обязуетесь предоставлять достоверную информацию о себе, включая возраст, вес, рост и состояние здоровья. Недостоверная информация может привести к неправильным рекомендациям по питанию.
5.2 Надлежащее использование
Вы обязуетесь не:
- Использовать Приложение в незаконных целях
- Пытаться реверс-инжинировать, декомпилировать или дизассемблировать Приложение
- Загружать неуместный, оскорбительный или незаконный контент
- Нарушать работу Приложения
- Делиться доступом к подписке с другими лицами
- Использовать автоматизированные системы для доступа к Приложению

Важно: NeroLens не является медицинским устройством и не должен использоваться в качестве замены профессиональной медицинской консультации, диагностики или лечения.

Вам предоставляется ограниченная, неисключительная, непередаваемая лицензия на использование Приложения в личных, некоммерческих целях.

11. Возмещение убытков
Вы соглашаетесь возместить и оградить NeroLens, его руководителей, директоров, сотрудников и агентов от любых претензий, убытков, потерь или расходов, возникших в результате использования вами Приложения или нарушения настоящих Условий.
12. Прекращение действия
